hi im a newbie to confusers and this site. im 45 and recently been diagnosed with crohns 3 years but was told it was mild,tried pentassa and entocourt think thats how to spell them, but they disagreed with me severe chest pain and sickness. so nothing but diet but after mt yearly camera kebab have found out have stricture at terminal illium requiring surgery so not very happy, my specialist inspires no faith as 2 years ago phoned me at home to ask if diclofenic sodium an anti inflammatory drug for muscular skeleto disorders causes ulcers this worried me somewhat  as a g.i. man shud know wouldnt u think

hi tattyteds, things might seem frightning now but u learn to cope with it , its a case of a combination of diet , medication and common sense really but not all people require surgery and then if it only is nessaccary  please dont worry we are here to support you through this ok

oh i feel for u must b so difficult for both of you and the rest of your family , cant be easy but we are here to help and share info  where we can , has he been through the rigmarole of cameras and such i know they no fun but at least you get to see whats going on . what part of country you from? does your GP understand and have you seen a dietician yet push for one if you can i ended going through my GP in end as hospital one never seemed available hope this helpsand chin up make every good day special so the bad ones dont seem so grey

Ty buzz thats means alot, got so much going on at the moment, ive got pains in my legs sometimes i feel like i carnt even work, all that with whats goin on with my tummy and bowels, makes really upset, I will keep you posted. Thank you
