Welcome Kath and Gary,  I'm so glad that you are here.  I'm another that's had Crohn's for 33 years.  I'm looking forward to sharing your concerns and encouragments.  Know what you mean about, "Oh, I know just how you feel" statement.  I have a wicked streak that enjoys it when people have a touch of stomach bug (diarrhea).  They gripe and moan about 24 hrs of the runs and how they thought they'd die from it.  Give me a break!
