Hi everyone,

my name is kim and im 20 yrs old and have severe crohns disease.

in 2010 i'm doing a 9 day trek across the sahara dessert for the National Society for Crohns and Colitis. i'm currently raising the £299 registration fee to apply to do this and then once registered aim to raise a further £2,000.
There will be a group of people doing this for other charities at the same time, but thought as i dont know anyone who has crohns or colitis that it would be so benificial for this charity if i could get another volunteer. this charity has helped so many people suffering and i think its time we helped them!

if your really interested in doing this send me a personal message and i can send you all the details... the more people the merrier!!

Kim

Kimmy,  I think what you are doing is wonderful, however it makes me wonder how you will cope with some of the more trying apects of Crohn's.  I usually have to plan ahead for a half day shopping, let alone a 9 day trip across the Sahara.  Good luck and keep us posted.
