H i all, yeah same here, i could sleep stood up i get that tired, doing the house work i do over days rather than hours, i very rarely get a job done start to finish without having a sleep, sometimes its 1/2 hour, but other times it cam be hours, i just never know, im very rarely sick, but get alot of nausea and this happens worse when my pain is peaking, i know this sounds funny but my body has become immune to certain pain. so when its bad enough for me to cry again thats when my nausea kicks in, what my and all yours bodies have to go through its just not nice. tc all xxxsuexxx

Hi, I get very tired and like Sue I have to spread the housework out over the week. If I do too much one day I really suffer the next day. I find it very difficult because I always used to be on the go but now I can sleep for England!

I also thought i'd become really lazy until I had an iron infusion and a session of B12 injections.  They worked a treat on me, I no longer feel that I need to sleep in the afternoons (which is not practical as work).

I am tired all the time and powernap during the day when at home. Alas, at work, I cannot do this but i do think i should be able to and may well speak to my employer about this aspect of things. I am sure that will go down well lol.

Regards

Ian

Hi All,
I also feel tired all the time and have no energy what so ever. I see this is normal.
But does it stop when you are on the right medication?
Thanks

This topic seems to be raised quite often with most people experiencing tiredness. I was diagnosed with Crohns in 2006 after emergency surgery to remove large sections of my bowel. I also had peritonitis and was in a real mess. I had been experiencing flare ups for a number of years but just kept being told it was IBS so fow a number of years just put up with the pain with no treatment. Since surgery to reconnect my bowel the following year I have been doign well. No real flare ups, currently on Pentasa and Azathioprine as there is some inflamation at the join bu no crohns activity. One of my main issues is that every 3/4 months I just get to a point where I am so tired and generally run down that I can't do anything and just want to sleep. I spend a few days off work and then seem to get back on track again. Does anyone else experience anything like this?
