Hi all, ive had my results today, well i would have if there had been anything found, yes there is red patches of inflammation in my sigmoid, caecum, and rectum, but still not been diagnosed, my consultant said it can be very hard to diaganose in some patients and he believe im one of them, so hes now put me on pentasa, see how i go, you may remember i also had a mri scan which picked something up, today i was told theyve found cysts on my ovaries, so im now goin in for a laporoscopy to see if they are alright, and also investgating a fistula as well, so 8 months on and im still none of the wiser. I feel like im banging my head against a brick wall, anybody else had test scans and biopsies all normal at one point , but then further down the line had a diagnosis of crohns, im slowly losing my marbles i think with it all lol , tx all thanks for reading xxxsuexxx

Hi Sue, You are not losing your marbles! I had to be operated on before they found my crohns and then ten weeks later I was told it was a false alarm. I changed hospitals and consultants and was rediagnosed. My blood works always come back as normal even when I am having a major flare up. I don't lose weight like everyone else in fact every time they put me on steriods I gain at least half a stone and I don't lose it even when I have major diarrhoea.

My latest tests came back clear, still getting obstructions, imagination can play havoc, can't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine took ages to diagnose.
I went from 15.5 stone to about 8!

Touch wood never been that bad with weight loss again.
I take pentasa with my pred.
Luckily they work work well on me.
