Hey all,

Been wanting to post for a while, just not had the strength to!  I went into hospital at the end of May for an EUA and to ‘discuss’ the options of my latest MRI.  Basically both my Crohns & UC have been playing up like mad since Sept last after being in a state of remission for 4 years.  So the EUA sorted out yet another fistula and other problems, my MRI had shown a heavy amount of disease in the Small bowel and part of the Colon.  So yeah it all had to come out, half of my small bowel, and a section of my Colon, I dreaded having a Stoma and still don’t like it, but it’s for a year I’m told, they ‘should’ be able to reverse it, needled to say I had all sort of problems after, burst stitches, stomach ileus, infections you name it!  But been home 8 days now and feel strong enough to get up myself at least.  But i’m having problems with some drugs, and can’t re start Aza for at least 3 weeks, got horrible Asacol again, which does very little for me.  So back to the hospital tomorrow, as I’ve had ‘flare up’ problems for the past two days!  When will it ever get better I ask myself!!

Sorry if this does not read so well, but this is the most 'awake' I've been in ages!
